Safari - Fastest Web Browser for Windows Also

Apple announced Safari browser for Windows Vista and Windows XP. This is the same version (Safari 3.0) of browser as what Mac users have. The Windows users are going to experience another Mac feel especially the tabbed windows, bookmarks, RSS feeds and elegant popup free secure browsing. The private browsing feature in Safari will be too good to resist on public terminals such as the internet cafe and at colleges in India, where the users share the windows computers and internet connections.

Many of the modern websites featuring Web 2.0 and rich media content will load faster on Safari on Windows. More importantly the web application developers and designers can test their websites for standards compliant while delivering cross platform applications that runs on Mac OS X and Windows and later on on iPhone. This gives Apple and its developers strategic advantage to penetrate the untapped market (Windows users) and deliver them additional services. When the users share increases it helps Mac OS X users also indirectly. Some of the websites that are IE only or IE friendly are likely to make it work for Safari also. It is going to be win - win for Mac and Windows users and developers.
